Because Size Matters!

Join us for the 13th Annual Central Bark Dachshund Dash at Oakland Park Oktoberfest 2017! We’ll have one and only one wiener! Races start at 5pm on Saturday October 7th at Jaco Pastorious Park.

Oktoberfest is home to the Central Bark Doggy Day Care sponsored Dachshund Dash.  For the last 13 years, thousands of South Floridians have come to the Oktoberfest celebration to see these short, stubby dogs race each other.  Hundreds of adorable Dachshunds and their families in the tri-county area show up for the event.

Central Bark Doggy Day Care has been the sponsor of this event since it began 13 years ago.  Because the event is so popular pre-registration is required by calling 954-568-3647 or you can register online. Because of the demand, there will be no onsite registration on the day of the event.  Registration will end at 5pm on Friday, October 6th. REGISTER NOW!

Aside from the Dachshund Dash, the two-day festival will feature authentic German cuisine prepared by the Craft Food Kitchen, bite prevention information, costume contests, beer and beverages, live music and even a children’s carnival among all of the arts and crafts vendors and local businesses.
